About Me
Malora Huggins is a music educator in Evansville, Indiana's diocese. At age 15, she began giving piano lessons and discovered her passion for music and education. Today she also works as an accompanist throughout the tri-state acting both as an educator and a professional musician. She attended the University of Evansville from 2004-2008, graduating with honors, and recently completed her Master's of Music Education from Boston University, also with honors. In her spare time, she enjoys playing golf, fishing, drawing, spending time with family, and learning more about music.
Influential People
My great-grandma was one of my biggest fans. She took me to my first piano lesson, encouraged, and reminded me that I would not get any better without practice, hard work, and dedication. I also had very inspirational piano teachers, both as a child and college student. They taught me that being a piano teacher was not just educating students about music, but it was also about caring for your students, and building a relationship with them while encouraging them to be the best musician they can be.
